Crafted for Intentional Living

We believe a home is more than a place—it is where faith is lived, families grow, children learn & play, and everyday moments become lasting memories.

Home Is A Place Of Rest.

In a world that’s often too busy, home is that one place where we have full control to curate spaces that enable us to slow down.

Inspired by intentional living, we create thoughtfully handcrafted furniture and home pieces in Cape Town, South Africa, made with beauty, purpose, and care.

From custom-made furniture that adds calm, charm and comfort to your home, to thoughtfully designed pieces for children that encourage play, learning and creativity, everything we make is designed to be both beautiful and practical, bringing quality and intention to everyday living.

Because we believe the best homes aren’t filled with more things—they’re filled with purpose.

Immensely impressed with the quality of service AND furniture I've received from Calm Being. I have 3 items in my home (soon to be adding more) that were custom made exactly like the inspo pics. Charles is super knowledgeable and always advises you on the best options that will work for YOU. Highly recommend!

Our daughter loves her little dress up rail. Friendly, prompt service made to order. Thank you Charles

We ordered some sandpits from Charles and they are the best quality ones I’ve ever seen. Thick, treated wood and super sturdy. They will last for years. Highly recommend.
